Rock 'n' Roll
Todd Morgan and the Emblems, led by singer and pianist Todd Morgan, bring a modern spin on ‘50’s Rock ‘n Roll, Blues, Country and Classic Jazz of the early ‘30’s.
By mixing a collection of instruments ranging from the common guitar, bass and drums to more unusual instruments for this genre such as flute and harp, they resurrect an almost lost art form. Influenced by artists such as Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Cab Calloway, Louis Armstrong, Sam Cooke and many more, the band captures the essences of these artists and a significant time in American music, while some of the songs may push towards a more modern sound, they never quite leave the genre of early Rock ‘n Roll.
