Band Description Ho'Down Quartet is a Bay Area bluegrass dynamo, four top-notch players covering every area of the down-home, high lonesome sound that has been rediscovered through movies like "O Brother Where Art Thou" and events like High Sierra Music Festival and Merle Fest. Fans of all ages and interests always enjoy bluegrass - the twanging banjo, booming guitar, dancing fiddle and slapping bass of a hillbilly band is the perfect musical upswing for receptions, openings, birthday parties, auctions or company picnics. Ho'Down Quartet's four-way harmony vocals add a sweet touch to any event and the guys also play selections from the Hot Club jazz era and their own fine originals.
